The third verse of "Jerusalem of Gold" song and the chorus section, handwritten by the song-writer, composer and singer, winner of the Prize of Israel, Naomi Shemer (1930-2004). A signed and dated leaf: "Naomi Shemer, Erev Purim 1979".
On the lower left corner Naomi Shemer added a small illustration of a flower and some musical notes on the left margins.
The song "Jerusalem of Gold" was composed for the Song Festival in 1967 following a request to Naomi Shemer by the Mayor of Jerusalem, Teddy Kolek to write a special song about Jerusalem. The song is considered one of the most loved Hebrew songs amongst Jews all over the world and one of the most famous ones. 21.5X22.5 cm. Very good condition. Framed in a nice frame 52X50 cm.
