A poster calling the public to enlist to the "Work Service" [as part of Emergency Regulations of 1948 for enlisting manpower, obliging every Israeli citizen who is not serving in IDF or the police forces].
A colorful illustration, depicting a hand holding a hammer. On the right side an inscription: "weapons / bread / housing / fortifications / recruit for work!" (Hebrew). 47X62.5 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and creases. Professionally restored tears; folding marks fastened with acid-free adhesive tape.
