Ten embroidery patterns for carpets, by Ya'akov Kanterovitz (1890-1961), of the first students and workers of "Bezalel", head of the carpets department in "Bezalel", founder of "Marvadiya" workshop and its director.
Ten patterns on squared paper, colored by hand and mounted on cardboard. Geometric patterns in color as well as patterns interlocking the words "Shir HaShirim" and "Israel". On one of the cardboards appear Kanterovitz's ink stamps. It is possible that the patterns presented here were used for weaving carpets in the "Bezalel" carpets department. 23X18 cm – 34X53 cm. Fair condition, varies.
