The "manuscript" of Nahum Sokolow's book on the subject of "Palestinophilia" that precedes Zionism and Herzl (from the years 1840-1897) - the sources of the Hibbath Zion movement and its influence on religion, literature and life; with chapter-long monographs of leaders and personalities involved with Zionism, and chapters on the philosophy of the Zionist Jewish revival.

Meir and Reuben Mass publishing house under the title "Hibbath Zion, the love for Zion, stating the principles and activities of the Pre-Herzl palestinophile…".
On the first leaves are ink stamps reading "From the library of E. Z. Raziel" - Elhanan Zvi (Henry) Raziel (Raczkowski) was the husband of Sofia, Nahum Sokolow's daughter.
[2] leaves (title page and dedication), 9 leaves (contents), XV-XVI (only two leaves from the introduction and foreword; originally 32 leaves); 349 leaves (the book itself), [13] index leaves, 32 cm on average.
