Seven black and white photographs of Eretz Israel, enlarged and mounted on cardboard, for hanging on the wall or for display on a table. Eretz Israel [1940s].
"Camels transporting sand for construction"; "Haifa: Hadar HaCarmel"; "Great Synagogue in Tel Aviv, on Keren Kayemet Lands"; "The Hebrew University on Mount Scopus in Jerusalem", and more. On the reverse appear a manufacturer's label "S. Neuman printing, Tel Aviv" and a label "Made in Israel". Three 32x20 cm, four 20.5x14 cm. Good condition, some are damaged at corners and edges.

1. Photograph mounted on cardboard with photographer's name on the front, on the reverse appears a Magen David and the word "Zion" and the caption "Artistic Photography, J. Rudi, Jaffa, Eretz Israel" in Hebrew and in English. Early 20th century. 16.5x11 cm. Good condition, damages to borders of the mount.
2. Postcard-like photograph, on the reverse appears an ink stamp of the photographer "J. Rudi Photography, Lilienblum Street, Tel Aviv." 8.5x13.5 cm. Good condition.

Four passport photographs by photographer Ya'akov Ben-Dov (1882-1968), with his handwritten annotations, 1923.
"This photograph (with the beard) of Mr. Joseph Israelsohn I photographed about one year ago. It seems that the person in the other photograph is the same person. Y. Ben-Dov", and further on "I photographed this new photograph and added a beard in pencil in order to see the resemblance and differenceג€¦ and I realize that this is the same person in all the photographs, mainly the eyes and eyelids prove it. Y. Ben-Dov, Jerusalem. Passport photograph 6.5x4 cm to 7.5x6 cm, mounted on a leaf 30x15 cm. Good condition, filing holes and folding marks.

Twenty five black and white photographs of the cornerstone laying ceremony for "Beit Ze'ev" Herut movement housing project in Ness-Ziona, April 1955. The head of Herut movement, Menachen Begin appears in most of the photographs. A scroll with signatures of all the leading figures of the movement appears in one of the photographs. The scroll details the aims of the building, named after Ze'ev Jabotinsky. Attached are seven black and white photographs of "Shikun Sela", Herut movement, September 1953. 8.5x6.5 cm, three photographs: 13.5x8.5 cm. Good condition, mounted on paper leaves. Four photographs are detached, remnants of glue on the reverse.

Ten original photographs from "Mivtza Shlomo" that brought Ethiopian Jews to Israel, 1991. "Mivtza Shlomo" was a military operation which brought about 14,400 Jews from Ethiopia within thirty four hours in thirty airplanes belonging to the Israel Air Force and the company "El Al". Two large photographs signed: "Nathan Alpert, Government Journalism Office". 12.5x18 cm. until 17.5x26 cm. Very good condition.

A cardboard mount, on one side of which is a photograph showing victims of the Chiֵinִƒu pogrom wrapped in prayer shawls and blankets, with a printed label stating, "The martyrs who were murderedג€¦in the Chiֵinִƒu pogroms, 1903, last day of Pesachג€¦". The reverse are two group photographs of "Young Mizrachi members gathered in Vilnius during the German conquest in 1916 - 1919". 15x11 cm, 14x9.5 cm; 17x11 cm, mount 25x19 cm. Good condition. Photograph of the victims somewhat faded. Cardboard stained.
