An album of pressed flowers from Palestine, with color lithographic illustrations of the first neighborhoods of Jerusalem; color map of Palestine on both sides of the Jordan River, showing the territories of the Tribes (printed on verso of title page); and an illustration titled "Memorial of the Temple Ruins".
Elegant carved olive wood binding depicting the Dome of the Rock and reading "Jerusalem / Omar Moschee".
[11] ff., 14.5X8.5 cm. Good overall condition. Several stains and minor blemishes. Edges slightly trimmed (slightly affecting text). Professionally restored, with new tissue guards.

40 undivided lithographic postcards with greetings from Palestine and images of the Holy Land. Publishers include Syrischen Waisenhauses (Jerusalem), L. Schoenecke (Jerusalem), Boulos Meo (Jerusalem), Pierre Michel & Fils (Bethlehem), H. Weickert & Enke (Leipzig), Hermann Hillger (Berlin), and others, late 19th to early 20th century.
Illustrated souvenir postcards from Palestine; including numerous color postcards. Mostly reading "Gruss aus Jerusalem" or "Souvenir de Jerusalem" and depicting the Dome of the Rock, Tower of David, the Western Wall, Church of the Redeemer and other sites. Two of the postcards were printed to commemorate Kaiser Wilhelm II’s visit to Palestine in 1898. A number of postcard depict other sites in Palestine, such as Haifa, the Sea of Galilea, Nazareth, etc.

75 chromolithographic cards depicting the holy sites of the various religions throughout Palestine. Each print is captioned in Russian, French and English (some are captioned in Italian as well). The cards are placed in an original card sleeve printed with the title and a Jerusalem cross.
The series was published by Boulos Meo, a store near the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem established in 1872 by a family of Italian origins. Initially a Persian carpet shop, the business eventually expanded to antiquities, postcards, photograph albums and other souvenirs from Palestine.
Cards: 13.5X9 cm. Good condition. Minor blemishes. Tears (including open tears) and wear to the sleeve.
