Notebook with list of donors to the Bikur Cholim Hospital, 1910-1919.
Thick handwritten volume listing names of donors to Bikur Cholim Hospital, and the amounts of their donations, collected by emissaries over the world. Most of the donations recored are from Eastern Europe: Kovno, Ponivezh, Vilna, Brisk, Lodz, Bialistok, Moscow, Kiev, Korsk, Oral, Charkov, Petersburg and more; there are also donations from Budapest, Trieste, as well as Chicago, collected y Minna, daughter of Rabbi Tzvi Rothchild.
The page from the town of Gur in Poland, records donations of the Gerrer Rebbe – Rabbi Avraham Mordechai [Alter], his brothers, Rabbi Moshe Bezalel (and his son Rabbi Yitzchak Meir), Rabbi Menachem Mendel Alter and Rabbi Nechemya Alter; Rabbi Ya'akov Meir Biderman (and his son Rabbi Yitzchak David), Rabbi Yitzchak Efraim Fischel and more.
At the beginning there is an index of cities, but not all of the places in the book appear in the index. There are several loose lists enclosed between the pages.
