On title-page appears a handwritten self-dedication: "Gift from the author, Azriel Hildesheimer" and ink-stamp of the rabbi. On the inner side of the binding Ex-Libris of [his grandson], Rabbi "Azriel Hildesheimer".
Rabbi Azriel Hildesheimer (1820-1899) was among the leading Torah authorities of his generation. Disciple of the Aruch LaNer and of Rabbi Yitzchak Bernays of Hamburg. He served as Rabbi of Eisenstadt in years 1851-1869, and during that time established there one of the major Yeshivot of Hungary and Germany. In 1869 he was appointed as Rabbi of Berlin, where he established the Beit Midrash LaRabbanim. He led the Orthodox Jewry of Germany.

On leaves preceding title-page are signatures of Rabbi "Meir Shapiro Pietrekov". And ins-stamps of "Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin". Handwritten glosses on leaves 65-66.
Rabbi Meir Shapiro (1887-1934), served as dean of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin, founder of the Daf Yomi movement, and was one of the leading rabbis of his time. He was a member of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah, and also served as Rabbi in both Pietrekov and Lublin.

A note in German is pasted to title-page "Shmuel Deutschlander…Putso…Hungary". Ancient ink-stamp on leaf 19 B, and traces of ink-stamp on title-page, "Shmuel Deutschlander". Opposite title-page owner's name written in pencil "Yehoshua Ben Ephraim Perl" [note on page 103 B, probably by him].
Rabbi Shlomo Deutschlander – (Otzar Harabbanim 19100), rabbi of Puba, author of "Moreh Ha-Levi"; possible that the writer is Dr. Shmuel (Leo) Deutschlander, educator and one of the founders of "Beit Ya'akov".

Rabeinu Yichye Salach – the Maharitz (1804-1859, Otzar Harabbanim 9119), the leading rabbi in Yemen in the 18th century, and one of the leading halachic authorities in the last generations. At the age of 43 he was appointed Chief Rabbi of all Yemenite communities. His authority was accepted in Yemen unanimously, and up to this date many Yemenites act according to his rules. See his Shulchan Aruch glosses item number 378.

On the leaf before the title-page, there is a handwritten index of all of the piyutim. Throughout the book there are handwritten markings for the poets. On leaf 24 of Divrei Mordechai, there is another piyut added in handwriting.
Rabbi Avraham ben Rabbi Bechor Yehuda Katzin was born n Aleppo in 1811, came to live in Jerusalem in 1890, and died in 1897 (see Lak'doshim Asher Ba'aretz, Jerusalem 1980. Letter 471). His son Rabbi Shaul Katzin, author of Kelilat Shaul was born in 1864, came to Jerusalem in 1891, served as shaliach tzibbur in the kabalist Rechovot Hanahar Yeshiva, were the Rav Hasadeh was Rabbi. Died in 1917. His sons are Rabbi Shlomo Katzin, dayan in Tel Aviv, Rabbi Avraham Katzin of Mexico, and Rabbi Ya'akov Katzin of the Shaarei Tzion community in the USA.
