Rabbi Avraham Shalom Halberstahm author of "Divrei Shalom" (1855-1939, Encyclopedia of the Chasidut, A, page 137), son of Rabbi Yeckezkel of Sieniawa, and grandson of "Divrei Chaim" of Sanz. Rabbi in Stropkov as of 1897. Many Chasidim were guided by him, and thousands came to receive blessings from him. Was famous for his scholarliness and diligence. During First World War moved to Budapest, Ungvar and Kashowy. His sons and sons-in-law succeeded him as Rebbes and Rabbis in Stropkov and Ungvar.

On the page before the title-page, an ink-stamp: "Rabbi Dovid Mordechai Heschel Shtefensht (Butushuni)" [Rebbe of Shtefensht-Trisk, Encyclopedia of Chasidut pg. 495], and ink-stamp of Rabbi Alter Manachem Mendel Hager, Rebbe of Borsha and Vizhnitz. [1897-1943. Encyclopedia of Chasidut pg. 221-222]. On the last page there is a note handwritten by his son "Chaim Bentzion" [Hager].

Rabbi Shimon Yisrael Posen (1894-1969), was born in Frankfurt and moved to Hungary where he was drawn to Chasidut, and was a student of the "Minchat Elazar" of Munkatsch. One of the leaders of Orthodox Jewry and zealots in Hungary. After the holocaust he immigrated to the United States, where he established a yeshivah and became one of the leading Charedi rabbis in the United States.

Rabbi Eliezer Zeev Merilus the Rebbe of Butashtash (1853-1946) was the son of Rabbi Yosef Aharon of Dorohoi. He was a close disciple of Rabbi Chaim of Sanz and traveled to him 16 times. He served in the rabbinate of Pashtzlov on the Visella. In 1913 he succeeded his father as Rabbi and Rebbe of Butashtash. (Encyclopedia of Chasidut, 1, pages 266-267).

He copied and published the writings of his master, Rabbi Mordechai Bennet. (There is a eulogy for him in "Divrei Maharya" by Rabbi Yehuda Assad.)
Rabbi Feish Frishoyer was a rabbi in Brin (there is a response written to him from 1852, in Pekudat Eliezer chapter 84).
