Notebook leaves from a Beit Din in Erfoud (Morocco), ledger for registering Ketubah obligations from the years 1931-1950.
On each page there are signatures of the Dayanim Rabbi Yosef Simchon, Rabbi David Ben Hamo. (On one page, signature of the Dayan Rabbi Meir Turgeman). On several pages, confirmation of the notes, written, signed and stamped by Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira (the "Baba Sali") who served in those years and Chief Rabbi and Av-Beit-Din in Erfoud and its surroundings.
The Holy Rebbe Yisrael Abuhatzeira, the "Baba Sali" was born in 1889 to his father the Holy Rabbi Masud Rabbi of Tafilalat (Morocco), son of Rabbi Ya'akov Abuhatzeira. An exalted Ga'on in both the revealed and hidden Torah, he was holy and pure from a young age. Published the letters of his grandfather Rabbi Ya'akov. Served as chief rabbi of Arpoud and its surroundings. In 1949 he arrived in Jerusalem, returned to Morocco and France, and in 1964 came to Eretz Yisrael and settled in Netivot. Many flocked to his house for council and blessings and he became famous all over Israel. Died in 1984. His grandchildren are the famous Abuhatzeira Rebbes.
25 written pages, (out of 53). 20 cm. Poor condition. Heavy moisture and moth damages. Signatures of Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira on 3 pages. His handwriting and signature can also be discerned on two of the damaged pages.

Letter carried by the emissary Rabbi Saliman Menachem Mani, [Chief Rabbi of Hebron], who was on mission in India and China. Hebron, [ca.1910]. Hebrew and English.
The letter deals with collecting funds for the establishment of a hospital, even though the main subject of the fundraising mission is hidden – to save young men from being recruited into the Turkish army. The rabbis of the city signed the bill: Rabbi Rabino Meir Franko and Rabbi Rabino Chanoch Chasson. Three ink-stamps.
On the back side of the leaves there are many handwritten notes: a list of letters sent to various countries and different bills [partly private bills].
Rabbi Saliman Menachem Mani (1850-1924) was born in Baghdad to his father Rabbi Eliyahu Mani, author of "Siach Yitzchak". Son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Ferrara. Member of the Sdei Chemed's Beit-Din and his successor as Rabbi of Hebron.
Rabbi Rabino Meir Franko (1866-1930), faithful assistant of the "Sdeh Chemed" and one of the Dayanim in his Beit-Din. Served as Community Rabbi in Hebron. His Torah thoughts were printed in his father's book "Sha'arei Rachamim" and in "Torah Mi-Tzion" and "Ha-Meassef".

The letter was sent to "New vial of old wine… Rabbi Re'ach Sadeh".
The contents of the letter is of significant interest to the history of the communities in Eretz Yisrael. Regarding financial matters and distribution of money, community matters, Shochatim, synagogues, education and more. The letter tells of letters recived in the past from "The great Rabbis of Jerusalem, headed by the King, the Rishon Litzion…". Also mentioned are the visit of Rabbi "Agan" [Avraham Gagin] and Rabbi Yehuda Nechmad in their community and more. The signees are probably the heads of the community.
It is possible that the receiver of the letter is the Eretz Yisrael emissary Rabbi Yosef Chaim Shreem (1850-1949), who left in 1899 on a mission on behalf of Hebron Kollels to Iraq, Persia and India. See more about him in the book "Ha-Shaliach Ha-Noded", A. Ben Ya'akov, Jerusalem, 1982.

Letters concerning divorce of a couple from Aleppo, the husband went to Haifa and his wife was in Beirut. Signed by Chief Rabbi Moshe Ezra Mizrahi, Rabbi Zion Laniado, Rabbi Ezra Hamawe. Handwritten inscriptions signed by Rabbi Eliyahu Rayna, Chief Rabbi of Haifa.
Second letter is a carbon copy.

The writer is the holy Ga'on Rabbi Shalom Lofes (1904-1994), born in Aleppo, son of Rabbi Ya'akov Lofes. In 1912 they arrived in Jerusalem. Was a leading sage in Yeshivat Porat Yosef. Served in the rabbinate in Acre for about fifty years, and was well known as a scholar. Published books to encourage praying at sunrise.
