Dr. Ze'ev Wilhelm Herzberg (1827-1897) envisioned the solution to the Jewish problem in the creation of a Jewish Homeland in France. The book we see expresses this spirit, and created waves in the Jewish world, with its publishing in 1868. In 1888 Herzberg gathered a meeting in his home, at which he founded the first bureau of Bnei Brith in Palestine; Eliezer ben Yehuda and David Yelin were also present at the meeting.
VI, 260 pages. Fair condition, first pages are detached, cover is damaged.
