Miniature Esther scroll in a silver case. [Eretz Israel, early 20th century].
Ink on parchment; silver - embossed, soldered and engraved.
Sephardic script. 14 lines per column.
The scroll is places in a silver case embellished with an etching of Me'arat HaMachpelah and with vegetal patterns. Covers designed like flowers with petals cap both sides of the case. The handle is designed like an octagonal prism, with a silver marble.
Height of case: 17 cm. Height of parchment: 5.5 cm. Good-fair condition. The covers capping both sides of the case are loose. Corrosion. Dents. Stains to parchment and several tears to margins. Dark dampstains at the top of the first membrane.

Torah pointer ("Yad"). Europe, [19th century].
Silver (marked), cast and engraved.A cylindrical pointer, widening towards the middle, where it is decorated with a ring and engraved petal-like leaves on each side of the ring. The cylinder narrows from the ring upwards until reaching another ring set above the cuff. An inscription is engraved on the pointer: "Yehoshua Bar Avraham". A large closed hand, with a pointing finger and a cuff. The hand with the cuff is made so as to be screwed to the arm (damaged screw). A heavy chain is attached to the pointer.
Total length (without the chain): 32 cm. Fair-good condition. Bends. Stains. Soldering repairs. The chain is not made of silver.

An open crown decorated with openwork decoration of acanthus leaves, and with green, blue and red gemstones. Two shields appear on the body of the crown; one is engraved with the inscription "Donation of the Ladies' Auxiliary D'Chevra Tehillim" and the other "VeLomdei Chayei Adam, 1923".
Diameter: 19 cm. Good condition. Bends. Fractures.

Tefillin boxes. [Unknown origin, second half of the 19th century].
Silver (stamped), bent, soldered and engraved.
The boxes are adorned following the theme of the Mishnah in Pirkei Avot: "Be bold as a leopard, light as an eagle, swift as a deer, and strong as a lion to do the will of your Father in Heaven". Each side is engraved with one of the animals mentioned in the Mishnah. The upper side is engraved with the letters Shin and Resh [shel rosh] and Shin and Yud [shel yad], inside a circle encompassed with flower petals. The boxes are lined with red velvet.
5.5X6X8.5 cm. Good condition. Dents. Corrosion. The edges of the velvet have unraveled and the velvet is damaged.

Marked "Millers" (Yiddish) and "J&D Miller". One of the knives is inserted in a velvet-lined silver box, and an additional knife is inserted in a velvet-lined wooden case. United States, first half of 20th century.

A cylindrical filigree spice container ornamented with silver globules. Russia, mid-19th century.
Silver (marked); filigree.
The cylindrical container is made entirely of filigree work in a repetitive peacock's tail pattern, with a frame made of a spiral silver thread. A removable lid is set at top of the cylinder, made of filigree petals in a vegetal pattern creating a dome. The cylinder and the dome are decorated with scattered silver globules. The lid is topped with a silver ball and a flag. The container stands on four legs made of a spiral silver thread. The legs, held together by a silver ball end with a ring set on top of a low silver dome.
Height: approx. 25.5 cm. Diameter: 7 cm. Good condition. Stains. Bends. Slightly bended to one side.

1-3. Three silver plaques (two stamped) for wine bottles. Various inscriptions are etched in their centers: "Gut Shabbos", "Wine for Kiddush", "Kiddush wine". The plaques are decorated with clusters of grapes, grapevine and Acanthus leaves. Two plaques are crowned with a Star of David. Short chains are attached to the plaques. Height: 6.5 to 8 cm. Good condition. Minor corrosion. Dents.

The body of the gragger is carved as two overlapping flags with arms. On the top flag appears in ink the word "Esther" (Hebrew). Attached with a rivet, between the two flags, is an additional rectangular part. Placed on the rectangle is a small polygon stage with the inscription "Purim", topped with a small silver flag.
Height: 14 cm. Width: 11 cm. Fair condition. Stains. Cracks. Bends. Parts are glued to each other. One on the flag's arms is lacking.

An oval seal with a stylized silver handle, set with a red gemstone engraved with a Latin monogram "WW" and surrounded by the legend "…Avigdor son of… Zeev Wolf from Zawichost" (Hebrew).
Jews lived in the town of Zawichost in East Poland since early in the 18th century and by the first half of the 20th century more than one third of the town's residents were Jewish.
Diameter: 23 mm. Height: 35 mm. Good condition. Some fractures to bezel.
