One of the first kabalistic works printed in Rabbi Moshe Shapira of Slavita's printing house. Title-page mentions only name of person who brought manuscript to print – R' Yosef Yoska son of Rabbi Aryeh Leib Segal of Zaslav (Av Beit Din of Voltshisk), who also wrote letter of approbation for the book.

Tractate Eruvin of Babylonian Talmud, Slavita, 1836, published in Rabbi Shmuel Avraham Abba Shapira's publishing house.
Two title pages, including additional cover-page, reading "Volume Three of Slavita Talmud".
This edition of the Shas, published in Slavita, was printed during the period of the dispute with Vilna publishers – a dispute which shook the Jewish world at the time. Letters from rabbis from that period are printed at the beginning of this volume.
Only tractates Brachot, Shabbat and Eruvin were printed in this edition.
Signatures, ink-stamps and inscription before title-page, signed "Reuven ben Eliezer"; also at the end of the volume.
[3], 132; 18 leaves, 39.5 cm. Good condition. Bound with the original paper cover in a leather binding (original with new spine). Some of the leaves are bluish. There are moth holes through all the leaves and the binding, mostly not damaging text. Moisture stain on bottom left corner and foxing.

Sefer HaZohar, Part One – Bereshit. Slavita, [1799], printed by Dov Ber ben Yisrael HaLevi and Ya'akov ben Moshe (partners of Rabbi Moshe Shapira).
Before the title-page there is a signature of Rabbi Chaim Berlin of Volozhin. The title-page is signed by Moshe of Bershad. Last leaf is missing.
Rabbi Chaim Berlin, Rabbi of Moscow (1832-1813, Otzar 5925) was the eldest son of the Netziv of Volozhin, and a well-known Torah giant in his own right. He maintained halachic correspondence with many great rabbis from around the world. He served as Rabbi in Moscow and in other places. For a short period, he stood at the head of the Volozhin yeshiva – until its closure by the Russian authorities in 1892. Toward the end of his life he made aliya to Jerusalem and was one of its leading rabbis. His wide and varied library contained thousands of books, and the one we see before us was purchased in his youth, when his ink-stamp still read Chaim Berlin of Volozhin.

Four volumes of Mishnayot, Slavita printings – two volumes from 1822 and two from 1830 (altogether four from the six orders of Mishnayot). All printed by the Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Shapira, the Rabbi of Slavita. Incudes Bartenura and Tosfot Yom Tov commentaries.
Some volumes contain inscriptions and ink-stamps.

2. Part Three: Seder Nashim, [1822]. Fair condition. Stains, restored damages, detached leaves. Worn binding.
