Esther Scroll in a silver case. [Europe? First half of the 20th century].
Ink on vellum; silver (unmarked), cast, repoussé and embossed.
Esther scroll, inscribed in square, Yemenite script (not scribal writing), 15-16 lines per column. Inserted in silver cylindrical case, decorated with square and oblong shields and vegetal and geometric motifs. Rolled on a long handle with a bud-shaped tip.
Handle length: 38 cm, vellum height: about 9.5 cm. Creases, stains and wear to scroll.

Bucket with handle. [Probably Egypt, first decades of the 20th century].
Hammered, engraved and punched copper.
The sides of the bucket are decorated with four ornamental strips. Two of the strips feature a leafy branch motif; one contains a hammered inscription with the Biblical verse "Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit" (Hebrew); the lowermost strip shows animal decorations - camels, sheep and other animals. Handle attached with rivets.
Rim diameter: 24 cm, height: 23 cm. Slight bends. Some corrosion.

Silver (marked), embossed and engraved.
Round plate with a wavy rim. Embossed in the center are the Seder simanim (from "Kadesh" to "Nirtze"). On the margins are eight oval medallions, four of them containing fruit decorations and four showing Biblical scenes related to the Passover Haggadah: the crossing of the Red Sea, Moses and the burning bush, the sages reclining in Bnei Brak and David playing the harp.
Diameter: 39 cm. Good condition.

At the center of the plate is a scene depicting the Exodus from Egypt. On the margins is the inscription "Passover, Matzah and Maror" (Hebrew). Decorated with ivy leaves and branches. Reproductions of this plate were produced by the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and are sold in the museum store.
Diameter: 37.5 cm. Good condition. Slight defects to bottom.

Cast and engraved tin. Marked on reverse: SW Fein Zinn, with maker's mark, apparently Sebastian Jurame (active 1773-1791).
Engraved on the rim are the Seder simanim. Engraved between the first and last simanim are two branches with the Hebrew initials "nun-bet-gimel" (?). Engraved on the reverse is the inscription "Siman of the Passover Seder" (Hebrew).
Diameter: 32.5 cm. Slightly damaged.

Cast and engraved tin. Marked (winged angel holding a scale, blurred stamp).
In the center is a medallion with an engraved image of Mordecai riding a horse led by Haman, with the inscription (Hebrew and Yiddish), "Blessed is Mordecai, cursed (?) is Haman son of Hammedatha, Gut Purim". Surrounding the medallion is a frame decorated with flowers and a fruit basket, and engraved Yiddish and Hebrew inscriptions: "From Gehart Zeligman Kivsh and his wife…", and "Mishloach Manot from one to the other, gifts to the poor…" (on the outside margins). Suspension loop on reverse.
Diameter: 21 cm. Good condition. Some scratches and defects. Distorted margins and bends.

In the center of the plate is a large flower surrounded by four fish and four branches with small flowers blossoming from their tips. Engraved on the margins are decorations in the shape of three songbirds. Engraved between the birds is an inscription in Hebrew letters (Judeo-Persian?). On the reverse is another inscription (unidentified) and a suspension loop.
Diameter: 26 cm. Good condition. Some corrosion and bends.

Decorated sign, "Zichron Machazit Hashekel". [Germany-Czechoslovakia (Bohemia-Moravia), most probably second half of the 18th century].
Ink on cut cardboard.
A sign meant, most probably, to be hung above a Zedaka Box during the month of Adar, when it is customary to give charity in memory of "Machazit Hashekel" (half a shekel). The inscription "Zichron Machazit Hashekel" appears in impressive Gothic Ashkenazi characters surrounded by decorations of flowers and a frame decorated with triangles and dots. Margins are cut in a wavy pattern.
Length: 15 cm, width: 24 cm, fair condition. Significant wear. Vertical folding mark. Tears at margins (some are open tears), stains and creases.

A rectangular sign meant for hanging in a Sukkah, on which a poem is written in square letters; the subject of the poem is sitting and studying in the Sukkah. Beneath the poem some inscriptions were added, among them "a person must study in the Sukkah" (Hebrew).
Length: 21 cm, width: 30 cm. Fair condition. Cardboard is distorted. Stains and creases, some of which affect the text. Glue remnants on the reverse.
