Decorated plate, with an inscription in Hebrew letters. [Iran or the vicinity, first half of the 20th century].
Tin-plated copper, engraved.
In the center of the plate is a large flower surrounded by four fish and four branches with small flowers blossoming from their tips. Engraved on the margins are decorations in the shape of three songbirds. Engraved between the birds is an inscription in Hebrew letters (Judeo-Persian?). On the reverse is another inscription (unidentified) and a suspension loop.
Diameter: 26 cm. Good condition. Some corrosion and bends.

Decorated sign, "Zichron Machazit Hashekel". [Germany-Czechoslovakia (Bohemia-Moravia), most probably second half of the 18th century].
Ink on cut cardboard.
A sign meant, most probably, to be hung above a Zedaka Box during the month of Adar, when it is customary to give charity in memory of "Machazit Hashekel" (half a shekel). The inscription "Zichron Machazit Hashekel" appears in impressive Gothic Ashkenazi characters surrounded by decorations of flowers and a frame decorated with triangles and dots. Margins are cut in a wavy pattern.
Length: 15 cm, width: 24 cm, fair condition. Significant wear. Vertical folding mark. Tears at margins (some are open tears), stains and creases.

Sign for a Sukkah. [Europe (Italy?), second half of the 18th / first half of 19th century].
Paint and ink on cardboard.
A rectangular sign meant for hanging in a Sukkah, on which a poem is written in square letters; the subject of the poem is sitting and studying in the Sukkah. Beneath the poem some inscriptions were added, among them "a person must study in the Sukkah" (Hebrew).
Length: 21 cm, width: 30 cm. Fair condition. Cardboard is distorted. Stains and creases, some of which affect the text. Glue remnants on the reverse.
