Manuscript of laws and customs of shechita, according to the "customs handed down to us by our first rabbis who were exiled from Castile". Added to the end of the manuscript: Halachic novellae, semichot for shechita, letters, etc. Debdou (North-Eastern Morocco), 1913. Title page with colorful ornamentations.
The scribe's signatures appear on the title page and on the colophons on page 58/a: R. "Avraham son of Yosef Mortziano" of Debdou, who also signed "Ish Ne'eman" (page 58/a).
On the leave preceding Leaf 1: copy of the "version of semicha for disciples who are beginning to perform shechita rites arranged by R. Masud Abuchatzira".
On leaf 64: semicha for a shochet (from 1947) signed by R. Yehuda son of Soosan, with an authorization signed by R. Maimon of Yaira who confirms R. On the verso of the title page is a dedication handwritten by the Baba Sali in 1957 in Morocco to R. Shimon son of Itach.
The name and Jerusalem address of the Baba Sali are printed on the same page and with the same pen with which the dedication was written he humbly erased the words "The holy Rabbi, the Gaon".
R. Yisrael Abuchatzeira, the "Baba Sali", (1889-1984) son of Rabbi Mas'ud of Tafilalt (Morocco), son of Rebbe Ya'akov Abuchatzeira. Brilliant in both revealed and kabbalistic Torah knowledge, he was holy and pure from his youth. Published the letters of his grandfather Rabbi Ya'akov. Served as chief Rabbi of Erfoud and its vicinity. In 1950 he moved to Jerusalem and returned to Morocco in 1957 [from which he imparted this book]. In 1964 he returned to Israel and settled in Netivot. People flocked to him for counsel and blessings. His sons and grandsons are the famous Abuchatzeira Rabbis.

· Tola'at Ya'akov, on kabbalistic matters and the secrets of the Jewish festivals, by R. Meir son of Gabai. [Copied from the Constantinople 1560 printing]. On the last leaves is a commentary on the Ten Commandments by R. David son of R. Yehuda HaChassid "who received his wisdom from Eliyahu, as known in the entire region". With "The secret of the Festival of Shavuot". At the end of the book Tola'at Ya'akov (page 98/b) is the colophon of the scribe, R. Moshe son of R. Yosef Alashol, from the new city of 'Amran. Adar [1713].
· Tapuchei Zahav, Mussar and kabbalistic conduct, by R. Yechiel Mili [copied from the Venice 1705 printing]. On the last leaves is a copy of the manuscript Ta'am al Eser Nekudot, by R. Shlomo Ashkenazi, and Likutin. At the end of the book Likutei Zahav (page 163/a) is the colophon of the scribe R. Moshe son of Yosef. Tamuz [1713].

Various ownership inscription: "Moshe son of Ya'akov Amrani", "Avraham son of Moshe Amrani", "Yichye son of Shalom Tzabari", "Shalom son of Yichye Tzabari".

Manuscript, siddur Tiklal, early Yemenite version [Baladi-rite], Part 2. Contains: Passover Haggadah, Kinot for Tisha B'Av, Selichot, Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur prayers, Hosha'anot and piyyutim for Succot and for Simchat Torah. [Yemen, c. 1777].
The manuscript was dated according to the date which appears on the Kinah, Lachen Anshei Levav which is recited on the eve of Tisha B'Av, dated 1709 years "after the destruction of the Second Temple, built by Ezra, our master", and 2199 years "after the destruction of the First Temple and the dispersion of our exiles, we who were exiled here in the land of our persecutors" [According to tradition, Yemenite Jews descended from exiles after the destruction of the First Temple and they did not return to Eretz Israel at the time Ezra and Nechemia rebuilt the Second Temple].
At the top of the manuscript are sale-bills for this siddur. Several leaves were replaced with copies in a later handwriting [20th century]. Another leaf was bound at the end of the siddur [in a later handwriting] with a chart of the New Moons for 1896-1905.
