"Cease Fire! Vote Tzadi", election poster of the "General Zionists" [HaTzionim HaKlaliim] party, in anticipation of the Third Knesset elections. No printer or year indicated, [1955]. Hebrew.
The poster illustration, which refers to the Altalena Affair, shows a member of Mapai (Workers' Party of the Land of Israel) standing near a cannon (decorated with a Mapai flag) and gazing towards a ship sinking at sea. On the ship deck are the inscriptions "Capital Investments" and "Individual Freedom", and lying near the cannon are shells with the inscriptions "Socialism in Our Time", "Foreign Exchange Regulation" and "Monopoly".
48X70 cm. Fair condition. Folding marks, numerous creases, stains. Open tears to margins.

"Exodus", film poster in two parts designed by Saul Bass. U.S., 1961. English.
Especially large poster of the film "Exodus", directed by Otto Preminger and starring Paul Newman, based on the book by Leon Uris. The film was shot in Palestine and IDF units even assisted in directing it.
The poster is made of two parts (apparently due to its unusually large size), each part marked and numbered. At the bottom of the top part is an instruction to return the poster to the National Screen Service Corp. immediately after display.
[2] sheets. Upper part: 104X137 cm, bottom part: 104X66 cm. Good condition. Folding marks, light stains and small tears. Tear, 9 cm long, to bottom of top part.
