Advertisement poster issued by ENSA - invitation to a performance of "Israeli Songs", performed by the musical ensemble of "Me-En Ze", the song and entertainment band of the Jewish Brigade. Raghaieb Press [ca. 1944]. Hebrew and English.
Invitation to a show - "Israeli Songs" - performed by "Me-En Ze". On the lower part appear several blank lines for adding the venue, date and price of tickets.
Me-En Ze ("The Palestinians") acted under the sponsorship of ENSA -Entertainment National Service Association, an organization founded by the British government to provide entertainment to British armed forces personnel during World War II. The founder and artistic director was the actor and director Eliyahu Goldenberg [father of Dudu Topaz], and it consisted of soldiers (male and female) who volunteered to the Palestinian units of the British Army. Among the actors: Hannah Maron, Yossi Yadin, Lea Sitin, Yitzhak Yitzhak, Shlomo Drori, and others.

"Zechor Et Asher Asa Lecha Amalek!" [Remember what Amalek did to you!], illustrated poster printed by the Central Historical Commission at the Central Committee of Liberated Jews in the American Zone of Occupation in Germany. Munich, [probably 1948].
A poster with a remarkable illustration by Pinchas Shuldenrein (signed in print) portraying how the Jewish people was persecuted throughout history and the books that were written on the subject: slavery in Egypt and the Passover Haggadah; destruction of the Temple and the Book of Lamentations; the decrees of 1648 and 1649 and the book "Yeven Metzula"; the expulsion from Spain and the book "Emek Ha-Bacha".
The historical occurrences link the hands of a clock. Below appears a drawing of a skeleton pointing at the symbolic figure “6000000”, a feather (for writing) and a command: “zamlt un fartsaykhnt” - gather and record - referring to the role of the historical commission regarding documenting Jewish history during the Holocaust.
