Fine illustrated poster, printed in red and black - an invitation to Purim celebrations ("The Grandest masquerade ever held in Tel-Aviv!") at the Huberman Hall, Levant Fair grounds in Tel Aviv.
94.5X62.5 cm. Good condition. Some stains on lower margins. Restored tears to margins and to vertical folding mark. A tear of about 7 cm. to the right margin.

Poster calling on the public to donate a self-imposed tax to the JNF, to promote the enterprise of "redeeming the Hula and Galilee surroundings": "The redemption of the Galilee, with its mountain ridges and fertile valleys, reviving its deserted places and turning them into vibrant Jewish settlements - this is our duty at this great time… the Jewish National Fund extends its hand to the Upper Galilee, birthplace of the heroes of Israel, bringing to it the blessing of the Hebrew worker, who shall slake its thirst with the sweat of his brow and restore its honor as of old…" [Hebrew]. On the right is a fine illustration of a laborer gazing toward the Galilee hills.

Central Hotel in Safed - poster and advertising pamphlet. Tel Aviv: Rosenberg and Federbush, [ca. early 1940s].
1. Handsome colorful poster, printed in green and orange, with illustration of the hotel in Safed. Signed in print: Ros (Hebrew).
32.5X46.5 cm. Good condition. Creases and folding marks. Some stains.
2. Advertising pamphlet. Leaf folded in half. On the outer side is an illustration of the hotel, inside are details about the hotel, in Hebrew and English.

"Your laundry will be as white as snow". Advertisement poster for "Kesem" washing powder, produced by "Shemen" factory. "Monsohn" lithographic printing, Jerusalem [1938]. Design: Franz Kraus. Hebrew.
Appearing on the poster is Anny Kraus, the designer's wife. "Shemen" was established in 1906; the factory manufactured oil and soap and was one of the first Zionist factories in Palestine.
