Composition in two parts. The first part (printed in New-York) includes essays on Hebrew literature, Hebrew language, Eretz Israel and more. The second part (printed in Jaffa by E. Ittin, with a separate title page) includes a list of all Hebrew books printed in the United States between the years 1735-1911.

First publication in book form of Einstein's paper presenting his general theory of relativity. The paper was published the same year in the journal Annalen der Physik, and the book publication is in fact a reprint of the article, retaining the original typesetting but with different page numbers. The first edition differs from the following ones in that the verso of the title page bears the printed inscription "Druck von Metzger & Wittig in Leipzig", and the back wrapper bears the printed inscription "Metzger & Wittig, Leipzig". 64 pp., 24 cm. Good condition. Tears to corners. Tear to back wrapper. Bound in hard binding, with original wrappers.
