Nimtza-Bi, Head of the Committee for Hebrew Names: “The Defense Minister has requested that Israel’s soldiers change their surnames from foreign names to Hebrew names…” And another letter: “We have decided, therefore, to approach writers, journalists, teachers, and public personalities and ask them to suggest Hebrew names instead of foreign ones.”; A blank form from the Aliyah office (of the temporary government) with a request to publish an announcement regarding change of name; a letter and nine pages with suggestions from the Mayor of Petach-Tikva for Hebrew name changes from common foreign names; 27 pages with lists of suggestions of Hebrew names, some printed and some handwritten.

The collection includes, among other things, a large poster with “The Plan for World Peace,” his personal passport, personal documents, notebooks and two poems in his handwriting. Also included in the collection is an ink stamp, stationery, envelopes and calling cards of the “Inventors Organization”, articles and letters, among them a letter to the management of UNESCO with reference to the Committee for Finding a Thorough Solution to the Suffering of Man.
