Bragadini printing press]. Leaves 2-228. Missing title page and middle leaves – replaced with old Yemenite manuscript. Yemenite signatures. On Leaf 160/b is a scholarly gloss in ancient Oriental handwriting and on Leaf 175 is another scholarly gloss in Yemenite handwriting. 2. Mishne Torah Le'HaRambam, Nashim, Kedusha, Hafla'ah and Zera'im. [Venice, 1550. Bragadini printing press]. Leaves 234-451. (Missing leaves at beginning, middle and end. Originally: 229-389, [1], 394-767, [1] leaves). Copy incorporating two copies. Many glosses on the first 30 leaves in an early Yemenite handwriting. They contain novellae and comparisons to the words of the Rosh and the Tur. 3. Mishne Torah Le'HaRambam, Mada, Ahava and Zemanim, beginning with the count of the 613 mitzvot. [Venice, 1550. Justinian printing press]. 10-43, [1], 25-26, 1, 10-219 leaves. (Originally: 43, [1], 25-26, 1, 10-389, [1] leaves. Two copies joined together. Glosses in various handwritings, Oriental and Yemenite. The glosses contain an ancient Judeo-Arabic translation, etc. On Leaf 24/2 features inscriptions of births and deaths from ca. 1550-1560 in Oriental handwriting. At the end of the Simanim is a signed Yemenite ownership inscription: "…Se'adya son of Benaya… son of Se'adya… son of Yosef". On the previous leaf is a list of books in Oriental handwriting, signed "Moshe". 4. Mishne Torah Le'HaRambam, Nashim and Kedusha. [Venice, 1550. Justinian printing press]. Leaves 230-389. Ancient Yemenite signatures. Four volumes, 36-40 cm. Overall fair-poor condition. Damaged copies, wear and tears and worming. Stains and coarse ancient gluing. Damaged bindings. These two editions of the Rambam, printed in Venice in 1550, are called "Rambam im Migdal Oz" in the books of poskim. In 1550, the printer Bragadini opened his printing press for Hebrew books in Venice and printed this edition of the Rambam. This edition was edited by an important team of Jewish editors headed by Rabbi Meir Padua [Maharam], a leading Italian sage who added his novellae – “Hagahot Maharam Padua”. That same year, another edition was printed by his competitor, Marco Antonio Justinian [who established his printing press for Hebrew books in Venice, five years previously, in 1545], in which Justinian deceitfully copied part of Hagahot Maharam Padua from the Bragadini edition. The Maharam Padua then appealed to sages in Poland and to his cousin, the Rama, and they subsequently prohibited purchasing Justinian’s edition. This dispute between the two Christian printers instigated the 1553 decree in Italy of burning the books.

The piyyut Mi Chamocha is sung in Sephardic communities on Shabbat Zachor before Purim. Some communities call this Shabbat "Shabbat Mi Chamocha" after this piyyut. [8] leaves. 15 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, minor wear. Worming to last leaves. Reinforcing paper strips on title page. New binding.
