"Mizrah, Shiviti Hashem Lenegdi Tamid". Parchment leaf illustrated and illuminated by Shlomo Yedidya Seelenfreund (not signed).
On the right – a big lion with a long tail, sticking out his tongue, holding in his paw a shield, inscribed: "Shiviti…" and above it the word "Mizrah". Chains with Stars of David at their end hang from the lower part of the shield, and below it - sky-blue and white stripes. The background is decorated with orange vegetal decorations and dots. 42X45 cm. Fair condition. Small bumps and waves to parchment leaf. Stains. Miniature holes at corners.

[24] leaves, approx. 30X45.5 cm. Fragile paper. Tears, lower left corner is missing from all of the leaves. Worming damages next to lower right corner of leaves.

At the end of the three booklets that accompany the prints – a comment handwritten by the artist (he even added a small illustration to one of the comments). Frontispiece by Szyk, portraying himself while drawing a caricature of Hitler, surrounded by caricatures of Goebbels, Himmler, Mussolini, and others.
Copy from a limited edition of one thousand copies, dedicated and signed by Szyk. [14], 18, [1] pp; LXXIV leaves (illustration plates), 31 cm. Good condition. Fine leather binding, worn margins and spine. Cardboard slipcase damaged.
