Invitation to "Chag Hapo'el" – "Regional convention of Tel-Aviv, Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, for the return of 'Hapo'el' delegations from abroad" – which was held in Tel-Aviv in 1934. A nice illustration in color, of a sportsman wearing a shirt with "Hapo'el" emblem, throwing a javelin, on the background of the city. Details about the events appear on the bottom.Approx. 63X94.5 cm. Folding marks and creases. Tears.

"Hadashot Ahronot Yofia BaYamim Hakrovim" [Hebrew: Hadashot Ahronot will appear in the next few days]. Advertisment poster for the upcoming publication of the newspaper "Hadashot Ahronot". Design: Meir Gur- Aryeh (signed in initials). "Leumi" Printing Press, [Jerusalem, summer 1936].
The poster portrays a young, barefoot Yemenite boy, selling the newspaper.
"Hadashot Ahronot" was published in Jerusalem during the years 1936-1937. The paper was founded by editorial members of "Doar HaYom" newspaper, following the closure of the latter in June 1936. The last issues of "Doar HaYom" were distributed together with the first issues of "Hadashot Ahronot". 92.5X59 cm. Good condition. Some stains. Folding marks. Slight tears at folding marks. Mounted on acid free paper.
