15000 Jewish Soldiers, 1 Demand: A Jewish Army! [USA, 1940s].
Blue lino-cut. The poster calls for the establishment of a Jewish army. The Revisionist Movement, headed by Ze'ev Jabotinsky, was active in the 1940s in effort to establish a Jewish Army to fight alongside the Allied Forces. After Jabotinsky's death, the political activists of Etzel in the USA, started a propaganda campaign for this matter, an action which served as an incentive for Zionists of the central movements to join the struggle. In May 1944 "The Jewish Committee for Liberating the Nation" was founded and acted to save Jews in Europe, to establish a Jewish army and a Jewish state in Eretz Israel. 47X31 cm. Good condition. Central folding mark and minor creases. Tears, most of which are professionally restored. Library ink stamps.

The "Magbit Hahitgaysut" project, started in 1942, to raise funds for Jewish soldiers in the British Army and their families. Later the aim of the campaign included aid for holocaust survivors. The name of the fund was changed to "Magbit Hahitgaysut VeHahatzala". See following item. 31X44 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and creases. Minor stains. Tears at margins and to folding mark. One tear fastened with acid free adhesive tape. Framed.

Advertisement poster by ENSA - invitation to the performance "Homa Umigdal", performed by "The Palestinians" band - entertainment band of the Jewish Brigade. 1945.
Invitation to "Homa Umigdal" performed by "The Palestinians", held in "Ohel-Shem" center in Tel-Aviv, on January 31, 1945. Amongst the writers: Yitzchak Yitzchak and Emanuel Harussi. Music: Zvi Ben-Yosef and Mordechai Zeira. Actors: Hanna Maron (Meirchek), Yossi Yadin (Sukenik), and others.
On the lower part of the poster appears an inscription: "in agreement with the military authorities who gave permission to the National Committee for the Jewish Soldier to hold a special performance of the band for civilians. Entrance with invitations only".
"The Palestinians" acted under ENSA (the Entertainments National Service Association), founded by the British Government to supply entertainment to British Soldiers during WW II. The founder and artistic manager was the actor and director Eliyahu Goldenberg [Father of Dudu Topaz], and it consisted of soldiers who volunteered to the Eretz Israeli units in the British Army. Among them: Hanna Maron, Yossi Yadin, Lea Sitin, Yitzchak Yitzchak, Shlomo Drori, and others. Ca.56X42 cm. Good condition. Stains, folding marks and minor tears.
