An extensive collection of documents concerning the Łańcut Congregation, from the estate of Michael Waltzer, editor of the Łańcut Congregation book. 1920s - 1970s. Yiddish and Hebrew. Some Polish.
The collection includes tens of letters from the 1920s-30s, sent to Waltzer who lived in Łańcut prior to the war; letters to the Łańcut Congregation Organization; documents regarding the editing and publishing of a Memorial Book for Łańcut Congregation; arm band with the Nazi Regime stamp and a yellow patch with the word "Juif", and more. Total of hundreds of leaves, printed and handwritten. Size and condition varies. Some documents are in poor condition.
Enclosed is the book: "Łańcut, life and destruction of a Jewish congregation". Published by the Associations of Former Residents of Lancut in Israel and the USA, 1963.
