• Poster from 1981. On the left - photo of a girl behind a barbed-wire fence, with a red cross pointing at a photo of Ariel Sharon. On the lower part - an inscription "Machane Sheli" and "nationality is not love of homeland, standard of living is not quality of life" (Hebrew). Ca. 69x49.5. Folding marks, stains, tears at margins.
• Poster from 1982. In the center - portrait of Ariel Sharon, above it inscription - "Shame" and below it a citation from a poem by Nathan Alterman. A Hebrew inscription handwritten by Yigal Tumarkin appears on the reverse of the poster: "Printed before the war (according to a sense), and 'Arik's practices' to bring up and down the army (in the north)". Ca. 49.5X69 cm. Folding marks and stains.

"Jacob's Well" by Pierre Benoit, a French novel about a Jewish woman who settles in Eretz Israel. Accompanied by twelve exquisite miniature illustrations by Arthur Szyk. The illustrations were printed using the pochoir technique (stencil-based technique that produces images that have a freshly printed or wet appearance). The initials of each chapter are illustrated by Szyk as well; each colorful illustration represents one the Twelve Tribes of Israel.
Copy no. X from a limited edition of fifteen copies printed on high quality paper and accompanied by an original drawing by Szyk - one of the illustrations decorating the initials . This copy features the illustration of "Tribe of Dan", colored by Szyk. [5] leaves, 323 pp, [1] leaf (pages 105-112 were bound once more following the colophon) + [13] illustration plates (one plate appears twice). 20 cm. Exquisite binding with gold embossing. Very good condition.

Eliezer (Lazare) Berson (1882-1954) born in Kupiškis near Kovno. Studied art in St. Petersburg and in Paris. Arrived in London in 1914 where he was involved in art, painting Jewish-folkloristic motifs. Berson also wrote a weekly column for the newspaper "Di Tzayit". In 1916, when a reproductions album of his works was published, he left England and lived in Nice until his death in 1954. (see item no 355 with his drawings, printed in Nice).
The collection [ includes:
1-5. Five original sketches by Berson: • sketch (ink on paper) for an elaborate bowl in honor of the author Israel Zangwill, with a dedication and text. London, 1915. 31X31.5 cm.
