The illustrator Else Wenz-Viëtor (1882-1973), was an important German Art Nouveau style artist, with a sensitive perception of nature - animals and plants. The story "Wedding in the Forest" is a translation of a German story by Adolf Holst. It tells the story of a wedding of dwarfs and small animals in the forest and is illustrated with charming illustrations. [14] pp., 12.5 cm. Good condition, minor stains and tears to binding.

A handwritten publication, written and edited by students of "Vilkomitz" school in the Galilee.
First issue (and possibly the only one), with greetings, stories and riddles written by the school's pupils. Among the writers: Ephraim Geiger, Mordechai Moshkovitz, Israel Barad and Ben-Zion Milikovsky [Ben-Zion Netanyahu (1910-2012), historian and Zionist activist, father of Benjamin Netanyahu]. Ben-Zion Netanyahu (Milikovsky), who was twelve at the time, contributed to the paper a short essay titled "City life and country life" and also wrote one of the riddles appearing on the last page of the issue.
"Vilkomitz" school was founded in 1899 and was the first Hebrew school in the Galilee. Among the principles of this school were Nathan Milikovsky, rabbi and teacher, father of Ben-Zion Netanyahu and grandfather of Benjamin Netanyahu. 10 pp (three folded leaves), 28 cm. Good condition.
