Report about operations of the Aid and Rescue Committee in Budapest during WW II, edited by Rezsö (Israel) Kasztner. Stenciled typewritten leaves.
The report, composed immediately after the war, aided Kastner's acquittance after a court decision in 1955 stating that "Kasztner sold his soul to the devil" and collaborated with the Nazis. Kastner was assassinated in Tel-Aviv on March 1957. The report was translated to Hebrew and published in the early 1980s by the "Society for Commemoraton of Israel Kastner". XIII, 191, [6] leaves, 31.5 cm. Good condition. Creases and tears to cover. Ex-library copy.

Among them, copy of an interesting letter sent to an engineer of "Ort" organization by a representative of "Moetzet HaPo'alot" in Eretz Israel, dealing in great detail with vocational courses offered by "Ort" organization to women in DPC's. Lot of 8 documents, size and condition varies.

On the certificate, printed in lithographic colorful printing, appear symbolic illustrations by W. Adler. 34.5X44.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Creases and stains. Minor tears.
