Collection of handwritten leaves. Persia, 19th and 20th centuries.
* Halachic rulings and responsa, by Persian rabbis and sages (some leaves carry the titles: "The person with the query stood before Abba Shaul and asked him", or "The person with the query stood and presented his question before the Av Beit Din Abba Yehoyada"). * Halachic queries written in Persia with responses handwritten by Rabbi Yitzchak Ezra, an emissary from Hebron, Rabbi Avraham ben Atar of Tiberias and Rabbi Moshe Amar "Emissary of the Rashbi Kollel from Safed".
* Dozens of Gittin, Shtarot Shelichut and divorce permits, written in Persian communities: Golpayegan, Hamedan, Sanandaj, Isfahan, Kashan and Nahavand, from 1845-1930. Some are signed by the community Dayanim and Torah scholars. Some of the Gittin papers have a tear performed by the Beit Din called a "Kera Beit Din" [as a sign that the Get was delivered according to Jewish law].
* Ketubah. Farrah'abad, 1924. * Marriage Ketuba. Damavand (torn; parts missing). * A document in Judeo-Persian (Ketubah?) on fabric, with signatures.

Illustrated manuscript, songbook for various events (weddings, Brit Milah etc.) in Hebrew and Judeo-Persian. [Persia, beginning of the 20th century].
Long narrow format. Illustrations and decorations in paint and ink, floral and bird frames. Written on the frame of the first page: "This songbook belongs to me, Avraham". On the last page: "This songbook belongs to Avraham ben HaNaim… Yitzchak…".
[14] leaves. Height: 20 cm. Width: 11cm. Fair-good condition, many stains, wear. Handsome leather binding, with minor damages.

Manuscript, Passover Haggadah, with Judeo-Arabic translation and piyutim. [Afghanistan?], 1886.
The original text and Judeo-Arabic translation. With addition of Amru Rabboteinu… and with piyutim Emunim Archu Shevach and Ata Ga'alta.
Opening words illustrated with geometric patterns. Illustrations of birds and branches. Several pages with large colored illustrations (birds, trees and geometric patterns). In one place, the text of the Haggada is written in several colors.
Colophon at the end of the manuscript: "This Passover Haggada has been completed in the month of Adar Bet 1886…I have written it for the nice pleasant young man…Sasson ben Avraham HaLevi… Eliyahu Menachem David Mizrachi". Signature in several places by "Sasson ben Avraham HaLevi".
A number of leaves at the beginning of the Haggada are missing (starts with Baruch HaMakom Baruch Hu). [90] pages. 24 cm. Fair condition. Spotting, wear and tear. New binding, detached.

Manuscript, Bakashot and Selichot, Hatarat Nedarim and Tashlich. [India / Iraq / Iran? The 19th century].
At the end of Selichot (Leaf 42/b) is an interesting description of the ceremony of Hatarat Nedarim on Erev Yom Kippur, titled "The custom of the Sephardic community, in the synagogue in the city of …" (We have not been able to identify the city): "On Erev Yom Kippur after Shacharit, the congregation gathers in the synagogue and from among the gathering three dayanim are chosen. One person stands before the dayanim and confesses and regrets his sins and says: I hereby admit and confess before you, expert dayanim, any vow… and then one of the holy dayanim distances himself four cubits and removes his shoes and sits on the ground like a mourner and like a banned person for a short while. Afterward, the dayanim call him with these words: You are our brother, you are our brother, you are our brother, since you have accepted the judgement. And he immediately rises from the ground and stands before the dayanim in prayer and prays with unabated tears…" This custom is mentioned in the book Shnei Luchot HaBrit (227, 1), as the custom in Eretz Israel.
The first and last leaves have family inscriptions of deaths and births from 1836-1886.
