Torah Pointer. [Tripoli], early 20th century.
Silver (marked), engraved.
A flat Torah Pointer in the shape of a tree, with a ring at the end. The pointer is decorated on both sides. In the center of one side an inscription "…Masuda Boharon…: and on the other side a vegetal ornamentation with the inscription "Or Torah", a Star of David and "Zion" in its center. The tip of the hand – a hand palm with clenched fingers and a folded finger over them.
Length: 32 cm. Good condition.

Amulet ornament for a Torah case. North Africa, 1862.
Engraved and cut silver.
The ornament consists of two plates which separate and meet when the case is opened and closed. Two horseshoe gates with inscriptions are engraved on the plates. On the upper part a Hamsa with three fingers pointing upwards while the thumb and the pinkie are pointing outwards. Two fish, facing each other, on the lower part.
Verses are inscribed on the plates.
Height: 12 cm.

Silver repousée and pierced.
Tall Torah Finials, in the shape of bell towers consisting of two parts and a crown. A gliding bird on top of the crown with Acanthus leaves. Cylindrical legs widening towards their base. Each part with four bells hanging on birds. Vegetal pattern ornamentation covering the whole surface.
Height: 38 cm, good condition, one bell is not original.

Pear-shaped Torah finials, on a cylindrical stem, A dedication is engraved on one of the stems, probably added in Eretz Israel: "…Yosef Molcho and David Ami…In memory of Meir Ovadia..". Six chains with bells descend from the finial. The finial is topped with an onion-shaped dome and a finely engraved Hamsa. Vegetal patterns are engraved on the Torah finial.
Height: 27 cm. Fair condition, indentations and bends to stems, three chains and six bells are missing.

A pair of square Torah Finials, on an engraved, spiral stem. The body of the square finial is sawn in a vegetal/geometric pattern. The finial is topped with a dome from which stems a cone in the shape of a pointed hexagon. Four bells descend from each finial.

A pair of Torah Finials, with a dedication. The finials were created in Persia early in the 20th century while the engraving was added in Jerusalem in 1952.
Hammered and engraved silver.
The finials are designed as a tower in the shape of an apple in its center, and a cylindrical leg. A vegetal pattern is finely hammered on the surface. Four Stars of David with the word "Zion" appear within a cartouche. Eleven Persian coins are attached with chains to the upper part. On one finial appears the inscription "I, Shaul ben Israel dedicated a pair of Torah Finials to the synagogue Tiferet Mahanayim…" The inscription continues on the second finial: "for my successful marriage and good deeds…, 1952, Jerusalem".
Height: 33 cm, good condition, several indentations.
