Stamps of Rabbi "Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin Rabbi of Volozhin". Rabbi Naftali Zvi Yehuda Berlin – The Netziv (1817-1893), a leading Torah scholar of his times, son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak of Volozhin and his successor as head of the yeshiva for decades. Wrote many books: Ha'amek She'ela, novellae on She'iltot; Ha'amek Davar on the Torah; Meshiv Davar responsa, novellae on the Talmud and commentaries on Midrashei Halacha, Mechilta, Sifri and Sifra. Two haggadot by Libya and Tunisian scholars – with dedications:
• Geulat Hashem, haggadah with commentaries and laws, by Rabbi Eliyahu Lavi. Livorno, 1864. On the title page and on its reverse side are handwritten dedication and signature of the author Rabbi "Eliyahu Lavi" [renowned Libyan Torah scholar, Rabbi of the city of Bengazi, 1820-1881]. In Petach Tov (at the beginning of the book), the author mentions the blood libel which the gentiles of his native city of Bengazi alleged; how they slandered his son Rabbi David and three of his friends and the tale of the travails which they experienced.

Passover Haggadah, Kol Yehuda (with Torah thoughts by Belz Rebbes). Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Segal Deutsch Rabbi in Makó. [New York, c. 1946]. Second edition.
Dedication on title page from 1951, handwritten and signed by the publisher, Rabbi Yehoshua Segal Deutsch, son of the author, to Rebbe Hager from Seret-Vizhnitz.
Recipient of book: The Rebbe of Seret-Vizhnitz, Rabbi Baruch Hager (1895-Cheshvan 1963), fourth son of the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz. His first marriage was to the daughter of Rebbe Yissachar Dov of Belz and his second was to the daughter of Rabbi Eliezer Nissan Horwitz. Was a Torah genius and an outstanding Chassid. Served in the rabbinate from 1923 and in 1936 was appointed Rebbe in his city of Seret (Siret). In 1947, immigrated to Haifa where he established his Beit Midrash and a large community which is a Torah lighthouse in the city of Haifa until today. Member of Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah, one of the heads of Chinuch Atzma'i and of Agudat Yisrael.
The writer of the dedication is Rabbi Yehoshua Segal Deutsch (1910-1990), author of Beit HaLachmi son-in-law of Rabbi David Shperber, Rabbi of Brașov. Disciple of Rabbi Yosef Tzvi Dushinsky and Rabbi Yo'el Teitelbaum. Served as "Junior Rabbi" in Brașov and in the rabbinate of various communities in the Diaspora. After the Holocaust, he ascended to Jerusalem where he was appointed Av Beit Din in Katamon and was the first head of the Belz Yeshivot in Eretz Israel.
His father, the author, was Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Segal Deutsch (1836-1938,Otzar HaRabbanim 6338), Torah genius and Chassid. Dayan and halachic authority in Makó for 35 years. Disciple of the author of Arugat HaBosem". Was close follower of Rebbe Yechezkel of Sieniawa and Rebbe Yissachar Dov of Belz. Wrote many books on halacha, aggada and Chassidut.

The author, Rabbi Eliezer Nachman Puah (died in 1659), disciple of the Rama of Pano and one of the leading Mekubalim in Italy, headed the Chevrat Aluvim in the city of Reggio. At the end of the introduction are printed signatures of 25 members of this association, disciples of the author who published this book. At the end of the book is "Salvation for Jewish sinners" (a prayer written by the author).
