On the title page are various signatures and ownership inscriptions: inscriptions that this book "belongs to the Chacham Av Beit Din and Rabbi of Tunis… Eliyahu Borgel"; curly signatures (erased); owner's dedication signed with the pseudonym "S.C Li Ze'ira", who gives the book as a gift to Rabbi "Moshe Yom Tov". More signatures.
Scholarly glosses in Oriental handwriting by several writers. Two glosses are signed N.B.R. [possibly, the signature of the author Natan Borgel]. One gloss is signed "M.S.M.---Sil"T".
The author, Rabbi Natan Borgel (died in Cheshvan 1791), leading Tunis Torah scholar. One of the leading commentators on the tractates of Seder Kodshim. Ascended to Jerusalem in his later years. Served in the Tunis rabbinate. His son Rabbi Eliyahu Borgel was Av Beit Din and head of a yeshiva in Tunis. Some of his novellae was printed in his father's books. The Borgel family was one of the most important families in Tunisia and served for many generations in the rabbinate of the capital city Tunis.

Three ancient signatures: "Yosef ben Rabbi Shlomo Ashm---"; "Yehuda Leib of Vora—" [apparently from the city of Voronok in the Poznań region where Rabbi Yisrael Lifshitz, author of Tiferet Yisrael served in the rabbinate]. Leaf 88 has a long handwritten scholarly gloss.

Signature: "This book Get Pashut…belongs to R' Chaim Aharon son of Rabbi Zvi Shreiber… [on?] the table of his father-in-law R' Asher Katz".
On the book sheets are several glosses by an unidentified writer.

Signatures and self-dedication signed by Rabbi Yehuda Rubinstein, son of Rabbi Mordechai, author of Doresh L'Frakim, who received the book from Rabbi Yosef Hartman, author of Bracha M'Zion on the Torah and publisher of Karnei Or by Rabbi A.S. Mani of Hebron.
The book has long interesting glosses, some signed "Yehuda", "Yehuda Rubinstein". On the margins of the introduction, the proofreader wrote: "I have written a special pamphlet on this book called Ohel Yehoshua, Y. H. R. ben Mordechai".
Rabbi Yehuda Rubinstein (1899-1973), son of Rabbi Mordechai Rubinstein (1844-1917) who served as magid in Krakow for 30 years, authored the book Doresh L'Frakim on Pirkei Avot. In 1907, he ascended to Jerusalem with his father. These glosses were written when he was young [before his father's death in 1917] and his genius Torah knowledge is apparent from a young age. In 1922, he traveled to the USA to work as the secretary of Rabbi Dov Leventhal Av Beit Din of Philadelphia and president of Agudat HaRabbanim. Eventually, he moved to Chicago and to New York, there he was active in Torah and writing activities. Was also a well-known bibliographer.
Renowned for his fabulous memory and known as an expert bibliographer, he wrote many Torah articles and edited several Torah periodicals. Most of his writings are still in manuscript form.
