Several handwritten glosses, discussing the questions posed before the Rabbi of Przysucha. Handwriting similar to the handwriting of Rabbi Yisrael Nissan Kuperstock (1858-1930) one of the elder Rabbis of Polish Chassidism, descended from the Rebbes of Alexander. Served in the Rabbinate for over 40 years in Przysucha, Ryazan and Makó. In 1925, he ascended to Jerusalem, where he published his book Ani Ben Pachma responsa and established the Alexander Yismach Yisrael Yeshiva.

On the title page of Part 2 appears the signature of Rabbi "Yisrael ben Rabbi Y. L. of Leszno" in handwritten square letters. Copied on the margins of Part 1 are glosses [in a handwriting similar to the square letters] of sources, proofs and queries titled at the top of the pages R.L.Z.".
The work "Rishon L'Zion" on "Ya'arot Dvash", by the renowned Torah genius Rabbi Yeshaya Pik-Berlin, was first printed from a manuscript in an edition of "Or HaSefer" (Jerusalem, 1983). From the examination of the manuscript compared to this edition, many differences were found which were not printed.
Lacking copy: 2-116 leaves; [4] 112 leaves. (Originally; [4] 116 leaves: [4] 116 leaves). 20.5 cm. Good-fair condition, wear and stains, missing tears to title page of Part 2. Handwritten notes are partially cut off.

On the forsatz leaves are many signatures and ownership inscriptions of the Goldenberg family of Szolyva (a town near Mukacheve). Stamps (in foreign language) of Rabbi Chaim Leib Goldenberg Av Beit Din of Szolyva, official stamps of the town's rabbinate (in Cyrillic letters) and other signatures.
On the sheet margins are dozens of long glosses with scholarly halachic content, by two writers, apparently by Rabbi Shalom Goldenberg Av Beit Din of Szolyva and his son Rabbi Chaim Leib Goldenberg.
Rabbi Shalom Goldenberg (died in 1918), son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Weiss author of Divrei Yitzchak. In 1882, when his father-in-law moved to serve in the Mukacheve rabbinate, he was appointed in his stead as Av Beit Din of Szolyva where he maintained an important yeshiva. He wrote Divrei Shalom on the Torah. His son, Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Leib, edited and printed some books in the printing press he established in Szolyva. After his father's death, he was appointed as his successor as Rabbi of the town. He perished in the Holocaust with the members of his community.
