(Imaginary) illustration of Jerusalem, in its center appears King Solomon's Temple. Etching by Michael Wohlgemut. On the reverse appears an illustration of the Tower of Babylon. Etching: 22.5X19 cm, leaf: 32X47 cm. Good condition. Stains. Inscriptions in pen on the reverse. Minor tears to edges.

Die heilige statt Jerusalem contrafehtet nach form uns gestalt wie sie ietz erbauwen ist. View of Jerusalem, etching. Sheet (two leaves) from Sebastian Münster's book Cosmographia. Basel, 2nd half of the 16th cent. The book Cosmographia deals with geography, history, zoology, botany, ethnography and astronomy, and is accompanied by hundreds of maps and illustrations of countries and cities worldwide. The first German edition was published in 1544, and is considered the earliest German description of the world. Through time many additional editions were published in German, Latin, French, Italian and Czech. The leaf presented here was printed in one of the German editions of the book. Etching 37.5X15 cm, leaf 40X31 cm. Good condition. Central folding mark. Minor stains. Minor creases and tears to edges. In a passepartout.

שני תצלומים מאת הצלם יהודה איזנשטרק (1912-2005), יליד העיר לבוב. בשנות ה-40 עבד ככתב וצלם עצמאי עבור עיתונים בארץ ובחו"ל; היה חבר ב"הגנה" ועם קום המדינה מלא מספר תפקידים בצה"ל, בהם צלם, קצין קשר ועוד. בשנים 1947-1948 הרבה לצלם בירושלים הנצורה. אוסף התצלומים שלו נרכש על-ידי גנזך המדינה וארכיון צה"ל בשנת 1984.
1. שיירה של עגלות נפט עומדת מחוץ לבית הכנסת "ישורון" (רחוב המלך ג'ורג') בירושלים, בזמן המצור על העיר. 22X29.5 ס"מ.

אברהם סוסקין (1881-1963) נולד ברוסיה ועלה לארץ בשנת 1905. התיישב במושבה הגרמנית ביפו ופתח סטודיו לצילום בשם "פוטוגרפיה פרוגרס" יחד עם ג' ברוק. בשנת 1914 עבר סוסקין להתגורר ברחוב הרצל 24, בבניין שקומתו השניה שימשה הן כסטודיו לצילום והן כבית למשפחתו ולו; בסטודיו זה, שנקרא "פוטוגרפיה א' סוסקין", פעל סוסקין במשך 19 שנים, עד שנת 1933 (בשנה זו נסגר הסטודיו).
