This copy is one of the first five copies: attached are three metal-etchings by Menashe Kadishman, two large drawings by Kadishman (pencil and pastel, signed), drawn on the book's leaves. The book is bound in an elaborate leather binding, hand- made by Artistic Bookbinder Yehuda Miklaf. The book is numbered (4/5) and signed by Shamir, Kadishman and Miklaf. 26 cm. Very good condition. The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, published by Even Hoshen, 2010. Hebrew and English.
The Gothic poem "The Raven", by the American poet and author Poe (1809-1849) is presented in this book in English and in Hebrew. The translation is the famous one by Zeev Jabotinsky and was first published in the book "Targumim" (Berlin, 1923) and is printed in the book as a tribute to the translator, seventy years after his decease. Printed in 66 signed and numbered copies, the copy presented is no. 18.
This is the thirteenth book of the series of translated books "Yoshpah", Hebrew text set in "Margalit" typeface and English text handset in Alt-Mediäval font on Bavaria-Bütten paper 200 gram.
Illustrated with black papercuts in the shape of ravens (on the two title pages and on the leaf dividing between the two texts). Illustrations by Ido Agassi who did all the typesetting, printing and binding (a full black artistic leather binding with inlaid leather medallions in a lighter shade of brown with ravens within them).In cloth covered slipcase. 13, [8], [13] pp, 33 cm.

Nine poems by Dahlia Ravikovitch (1936-2005) accompanied by nine woodcuts in color by Pamela Levy (1949-2004). Printed in a bibliophilic edition of ninety copies, the copy presented is no. 18 and signed by Ravikovtich and Levy (on the colophon).
Third book of the "Pitdah" series. Letterpress printing, Drugulin fonts on "Kozo" paper (hand-made) which was crafted in "Tut Niyar" workshop in Zichron Ya'akov. The nine color woodcuts were printed in Pamela Levy's home and each one is signed by the artist on the reverse.
One of the finest, most delicate and lyrical books by Even Hoshen. Bound in a Japanese binding with green Japanese silk book-cloth and laid in a green woven paper cover. 45, [3] pp, 26 cm.

Don Quixote Visits a Printing Pess, Miguel de Cervantes. Even Hoshen publishing house, 2011.
This book was printed in honor of the 60th birthday of Uzi Agassi, the founder of Even Hoshen, and is the first of the "Tarshish" series. Printed in sixty signed and numbered copies – sixty being the age of Uzi Agassi (not all of the copies have been printed). The copy presented here is no. 18.
The text is derived from chapter 72 of the second volume of "Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha" by Cervantes, translated by Nathan (Agmon) Bistritzki (Sifiyat HaPo'alim, 1958). Accompanied by two original etchings by Zvika Lachman created especially for this book (the two etchings are signed and numbered 18/60).
Manual typesetting and printed on Hahnemühle paper, pre-soaked, using a rare and unknown font – " Hebräische" cast by S&G in Leipzig, Germany. All of the typesetting, printing and binding was done by Uzi's son, book master Ido Agassi in his workshop – 'the kingdom' – a workshop for letterpress printing and artistic binding.
On one of the leaves appears a woodcut portraying workers in a printing press; the woodcut was printed from the original plate found in a long forgotten drawer.
Housed in a box covered in a Bordeaux-colored cloth, with a sword-shaped clasp (commemorating Agassi's collection of swords), with the inscription "Toledo". [8] leaves + two etchings, 25.5 cm.

Selected poems by nineteen Hebrew poets (Sabeili Greenberg's poems were translated into Hebrew by David Avidan), with reproductions of portraits by Jan Rauchwerger for this project. Rauchwerger drew the portraits during one session with the poet and used various techniques by a law that he himself set in advance: the session will not last more than four hours – "Four Hours Top". 129 pp, 30 cm.

Copy no. 18 from an edition of 108 copies (numerical value of the letters of "geneologia") signed by the poet (on the colophon) and by the artist (on the etching). 95 pp, 33 cm. Slipcase.

Printed in an edition of 85 copies and accompanied by reproductions of drawings by the artist Avigdor Arikha. A numbered copy (no.18) signed by Guri and Arikha (colophon). The title page and the colophon are printed in letterpress printing and bound by hand by Ido Agassi. Preceding the colophon appears a numbered print. Red cloth covered binding, in a cloth covered slipcase. 26.5X29 cm.
