Hebrew dictionary of the old and new language, edited by Eliezer Ben-Yehuda (Ben-Yehuda Dictionary). New-York-London: Thomas Yoseloff, 1959. Eight volumes (complete set). Eight volumes of "Ben Yehuda Dictionary". International edition published on the tenth anniversary of the State of Israel and the hundredth birthday of Ben-Yehuda. Presented here is a copy from a limited edition of 20 copies, hand bound in a remarkable binding with a gold embossing (Ben-Yehuda's portrait and the inscription: "two things without which the Jews will never become a nation: the land and the language"). The copy presented here is not numbered. A page, handwritten by Ben-Yehuda, is attached to the first volume's title page concerning the word "nechoshet" – of the preparation leaves for printing the dictionary. 8 volumes, 25.5 cm. Good condition.

The Letter of Amerigo Vespucci, Describing His Four Voyages to the New World 1497-1504. Published by The Book Club of California, San Francisco, 1926. English.
English translation of the letter by the discoverer Amerigo Vespucci written to Piero Soderini in which he describes his travels to the New World (the American continent) during the years 1497-1504. First letters are decorated, the illustrations (two black and white and a small map, hand painted, on title page) were done by Valenti Angelo.
Copy no. 3 from an edition of 250 copies. Signed by Valenti Angelo.
[8], 28, [1] pages, 31 cm. Good condition. Handsome binding, placed in heavy cardboard case (slightly damaged).

A copy of the "Megillat Ross", by Y.B.R.R. [Yosef Yoel ben Reuven Rivlin]. Jerusalem, 1910 (parody according to Megillat Ross; Rivlin assisted Prof. Boris Schatz in founding the Bezalel Academy and afterward he was pushed aside by the "Russian", led by Yitzchak ben Zvi and Rachel Yana'it, who are the primary subjects of this parody); a lacking copy of Nod HaDema'ot by Abel Pann (with only two plates); a share certificate and paper items designed by Meir Gur-Arie and Ze'ev Raban, etc.

A sketch for a ceramic sign for Jaffa Street in Jerusalem, made by Ze'ev Raban. Jerusalem, [1923]. Rectangular colored sign. On a blue background the name of the street is written in Raban calligraphy in three languages, Hebrew, Arabic and English. The background is adorned with floral patterns surrounded by brown poles and two medallions with palm trees. Approximately 47X16 cm. placed in a 60X30 cm. frame (not examined outside of the frame). Good condition. Folding marks and tears to margins.

The Book of Ruth translated into English, in decorated frames. Accompanied by ten plates with color illustrations by Ze'ev Raban. [13] pages, 31 cm. Good condition. Torn margins. Damaged binding. Not original binding, on its front pasted an illustration from the scroll and the name Louis Lipsky is stamped on it (the cover was made for him).
