Three leaves of tracing paper with printing in black and white stamped with the stamp of the workshop of Ze’ev Raban (“Bet-Avodah for Industrial Art, previously Gur-Aryeh and Raban, Bezalel Jerusalem”). Jerusalem, [about 1930].
On these pages were printed the design for the title page and two pages of illustrations (without text) from the book “Alef” by Dr Fanny Shargorodsky and Mina Hefetz (with illustrations by Meir Gur-Aryeh and Ze’ev Raban), which was printed by “Dvir”, Tel Aviv in 1930. Apparently these pages were used in the course of printing the book, and perhaps were used to transfer the illustrations to the lithographic stone. [3] Leaves 17X23.5 cm. Two in good condition (a few creases and stains), one in fair condition (tears repaired).
