The brothers, sons of Rebbe Rabbi Sinai Halberstam of Zemigrad: Rabbi Yisrael Halberstam (1911-1981) Rebbe of Zemigrad and Rabbi Ya’akov Halberstam Rebbe of Tschakava (1902-1968). Son of Rabbi Ya’akov was the "Ga’on" Rabbi Moshe Halberstam (1932-2002) Chief "Av Beit Din" of the "Edah HaCharedit" in Jerusalem.

The letter is full from beginning to end with good wishes for blessing and salvation and tells of his stay in the Alps for medical reasons.
Rebbe David Moshe Rosenbaum (1925-1969), son of Rebbe Eliezer Ze'ev of Kretsnif. Immigrated to Eretz -Yisrael after the Holocaust and settled in Rehovot. Renowned as a wonder-worker, many Jews flocked to his home requesting advice and blessings, primarily in matters concerning medical counsel and livelihood. In his pure heart he carried public and individual needs, this is also obvious from this letter which is overflowing with blessings.
