Austrian peacock Chanukah Lamp. [Austro-Hungary? 19th century?].
Silver-plate tin-brass (stamped w.n.f. 1124).
Base for cornets in front of a panel with sawing and hammering work of a decorative gate, topped with a Torah crown and flanked by a pair of lions. Behind the row of cornets stands a silver peacock whose feathers rise and complete the panel.
On the side is a model of a bird on a swing and a jug (removable).
Height: 28 cm. Width: 28 cm. The Torah crown is broken and has been restored by welding.

Silver-plate tin-brass (stamped, manufacturer's stamps, Fraget w Warszawie – glaw).
Cast base with legs, upon which are small cups (with removable cornets). On the panel are ornamentations of hammering, sawing, gluing and screwing work. In the center is a model of the Temple menorah, a pair of lions holding palm trees, a Torah crown and grapevine leaves. At the side of the menorah are the "shamash" and a jug for oil (removable).
Height: 30 cm. Width: 27 cm.

On back panel are architectural arcs. Above them is openwork to which the "shamash" is attached and with the "Chamsa" symbol at top. The side panels are designed like architectural gates (with engraved decorations). At the top of each panel is the form of a hen.

Tin brass, sawn, hammered and engraved.
The back panel is adorned with plant patterns and three convex protrusions. On the center protrusion is a "Magen David". At the bottom of the back panel are seven "windows"; the side panels have two more "windows". A row of pinched oil-fonts are place on the tray (welded on to the back panel).
Height: 24 cm. width: 21 cm. length: 5.5 cm. The "shamash" is welded on to the back panel, near the right panel.

Sculpted limestone.
1. Limestone Chanukah lamp. At the front is a row of cornet indentations. Massive back panel. At top center, the "shamash". Height: 16 cm. width: 20.5 cm. length: 10 cm. Cracks, glued breaks.
2. Broken limestone Chanukah lamp. This is the left part of an interesting Chanukah lamp made of a flat rectangular stone. Has five cornets, a "shamash", decorated by a Star of David and the remnants of another decoration.
Approximately 13X14.5 cm. height: 2.5 cm.

Back panel features a pair of lions, flowers and a menorah. Under them is the inscription "Who perform miracles for our forefathers in those days at this time". Under the inscription is a row of circles embedded with Stars of David with the words "If I forget you Jerusalem I (!) shall forget my right hand" inscribed inside them. On its edges is the blessing for kindling Chanukah candles. At the top of the back panel are adornments and a (blank) plate for engraving the owner's name. Rectangular base, with a row of (detachable) oil-fonts ending with the "shamash" (detachable). At the front of the base is the inscription "These candles we kindle for the miracles". Hook for hanging on back.

Due to its size, we assume that the menorah was used in a public area, perhaps a synagogue. Height: 8.5 cm. width: 50 cm. length: 10 cm.

Cut cast brass. Stamped: "Pal-Bell Co. LTD. Made in Eretz Israel".
Back panel made of two delicate olive branches. Eight cornets shaped like clay lamps are arranged in a half-moon shape, identical "shamash". In the center stands a heavy jug in the shape of a jug of oil.
Maurice Ascalon (1913-2003) - Hungarian born sculptor and industrial designer. Ascalon is considered by many to be the leader of the Israeli movement for artistic design.
Height: 20 cm, width: 22 cm, length: 11 cm. Good condition. A break exists where the jug is connected to the base (in the area of the screwing).
