Portraying photos of the liberation and of medical care, separated with dividers, according to concentration camps where the photos were taken: Amphing, Belsen, Buchenwald, Dachau, Lambach, Landsberg, Ludwigslust, Penig, Wuppertal, Ebensee, Mauthausen. Photos 12.5X18 cm, very good condition. Folder 36 cm, torn cover.

43 photos of Jewish holocaust survivors in a transit-camp in the city of Vienna, [1946-1948].
Photos by the photographer Wolf Schärf (all are ink-stamped by the photographer). Documenting the daily life of Jewish refugees in a temporary transit-camp in the city of Vienna: queue for food distribution, children's school, Passover, etc. The photos were taken out of a photo-album where handwritten annotation prove beyond doubt that the photographed are Jewish refugees in a transit-camp (attached is a photocopy of one of the album's leaves). Some of the photos are annotated by hand on the reverse (later annotation, in pencil). 8.5X13.5 cm. Good condition.

Three photo-binders which include 210 photos of WW II period, by Max Bilen, a photographer working for Le Journal d'Orient in Istanbul. The photos are reproductions made in the 1950s. As it turns out from the collection presented. During WW II Bilen documented by taking professional photos the operations of the Allied Forces in Europe, the demolished cities and the Nazi concentration and extermination camps. Some photos are very disturbing. Attached: four journalist-cards and a photographer-card in the name of Bilen. Average size: 14X18 cm.
Generally – in good condition. Several detached leaves.

A poster with a remarkable painting by Pinchas Shuldenrein, portraying how the Jewish people was persecuted throughout history and the books that were written on the subject: slavery in Egypt and the Passover Haggadah; destruction of the Temple and the Book of Lamentations; the decrees of 1648 and 1649 and the book "Yeven Metzula"; the expulsion from Spain and the book" Emek HaBacha". The historical occurrences link the hands of a clock. Below appears a drawing of a skeleton pointing at the symbolic figure "6000000", a feather (for writing) and a command: "zamlt un fartsaykhnt" – gather and record – referring to the role of the historical commission regarding documenting Jewish history during the holocaust. For additional information about Pinchas Shuldenrein see "Kedem" catalog no. 21, item 512. 60X42 cm. Fair-good condition. Minor stains and tears. Photograph of a memorial plaque handwritten and hand-painted. A large illustration on the upper part (appearing below the title "Yizkor") presenting a synagogue hall and scenes of Jewish history during the holocaust: wandering, forced-labor, cargo-trains, etc. On the borders appears the inscription:" Made by Yhiel Kline and mounted by Achi-Ezer Akiva – in 1949, in memory of his beloved ones who were murdered…from 1943 to 1945". The edges are decorated with iron chains, in each link appears an illustration and a text based on the Passover Haggadah, on verses from Jewish sources and on the liturgical poem "Unetana Tokef".
In the center appear 400 names of victims murdered in Kiskőrös during the holocaust. 29.5X34 cm. Fair condition. Tears at borders and creases. From the collection of Doron Herzog.

On the last page of the issues appears the writing "Unzer Welt is a publication of the Jewish Displaced Persons Camps (Ex-Political prisoners) of Bavaria". Attached are three leaves with a handwritten draft of a story, "Abrasha returns to his people" telling the story of the boy Abrasha who grew up in a Kolkhoz in the Soviet Union. On the bindings: the emblem of the journal and the number of copies, 1-50, 51-100. Two volumes 47.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Torn bindings, loose, stained issues.
