Issue no. 2 was printed towards Hanukkah, December 1947. Issue no. 6 was printed towards Purim, March 1948. Of the first comics booklets published in Israel. 25cm. Good condition. Minor tears, minor stains.

The Sharar Group was an artistic workshop for filigree, engraving, carved and Damascus work in silver, gold and copper, affiliated with and located near the Bezalel Art School on Bezalel Street in Jerusalem. This product brochure exhibits a variety of the artworks produced by their in-house artisans, illustrated with numerous photographs. Items shown in the catalog include Mezuzahs, Hanukkah lamps, cases for Esther scrolls, silver Kiddush and Havdalah cups, etc. 20 pp, 12x16 cm. Very good condition. Some insignificant staining.

Preceding the title-page appears a long dedication handwritten by Lilien to his wife, with a long quotation from the book of Psalms (appearing in the book presented here on page 48) with his signature "Efra", as Lilien used to sign his letters to his wife. On the inner side of the front cover is an Ex-Libris label of Helene Lilien – "Mein Kind, Mein Buch" [My Child, My Book] – an original etching by E.M. Lilien. 328 pp, 25.5 cm. Good condition. Minor damages to binding.
