A story by S.Y. Agnon translated into English. Printout from Palestine Stories, edited and translated by Israel-Meir Lask. Printed in forty copies. On the cover appears a dedication handwritten by Agnon: "To my very dear friend…Raphael Hamitzer, S.Y. Agnon". The doctor and sculptor Raphael Hamitzer (1882-1957) was an acquaintance of Agnon from their joint stay in Germany. 20, [1] pp, 21.5 cm. Good condition.

Printed in 120 numbered copies on paper of good quality in black and red letters, bound in a fine binding. This is copy no. 114. [4] leaves, 11- 116, [2] pp, 24 cm. Good condition. Tears to spine.

This elaborate edition, printed in 40 copies, was published towards the International Poetry Festival and it is numbered and signeג by Czeclaw Milozs and by the translator David Weinfeld. Printing of exceptional quality on heavy paper, bound by hand in a blue leather binding, with a matching cardboard case. 96, [1] pp, 23 cm. Very good condition.

This copy is one of the first five copies: attached are three metal-etchings by Menashe Kadishman, two large drawings by Kadishman (pencil and pastel, signed), drawn on the book's leaves. The book is bound in an elaborate leather binding, hand made by the binding artist Yehuda Miklaf. The book is numbered and signed by Shamir, Kadishman and Miklaf. 26 cm. Very good condition. In a cardboard case.
