LVII (57) out of an edition of 100 numbered copies, with author's signature. Georg Morris Cohen Brandes (1842-1927) - was a Danish critic and scholar from a Jewish origin. The edition presented here includes numerous illustrations and original etchings by Hermann Struck, Eduard Munk, Max Lieberman and others. Gilded decorations on the binding. HaLevi made Aliya from Russia in 1906, worked in sowing, gardening and cultivation of plant species, one of the first painters of the vegetation of Eretz Israel and its views. [2], 12 leaves, 39 cm. Heavy paper. Good condition. First leaf uncut.
