Songs for children for one, two and three voices with piano, composer: Joel Engel. "Yavne" publishing, Jerusalem, Agency for the Diaspora, Berlin. Jerusalem, [1920s]. On upper part of title-page it says also "Kevutzat 'HaMenagen' in Moscow". Nine songs for children with musical-notes. Below the musical notes are verses in Hebrew and in Latin letters. Front and back cover with remarkable illustrations in color, printed in lithographic printing (front cover is signed: L. Pasternak.) Joel Engel (1868-1927) – a Jewish composer of Ukrainian origin, who significantly influenced early musical compositions in Eretz Israel and was named "Father of Jewish Music". 24 pp, 24X31 cm. Good condition. Cover – partly detached, torn at borders.
