Shana Tova letter by the righteous Ga’on Rabbi Eizik Sher, to his friend Rabbi Avraham No’ach Palei. Slobodka, Elul 1903.
In the letter he cites sayings from the sermons of Rabbi Itzele Blazer (recited last Elul prior to his immigration to Jerusalem). Words of ethics applicable to month of Elul [on behalf of “Alter of Slobodka”?]: “… I have heard in the name of my in-law [his rabbi and teacher, Rabbi Natan Tzvi Finkel – who became Rabbi Eizik’s in-law that same year], that people say that Elul isn’t a bear, and he said that this is indeed the truth; Elul isn’t a bear, since King David hit the bear and was not intimidated by him; and in anticipation of Elul and the Day of Judgment he would be instilled with fear…”.

Long letter by Rabbi Yitzchak Waldstein to Rabbi Ben-Zion Brook. [Ostrovtse, 1939].
The letter has many topics, Torah and ethics [ending with the typical Navaredok sentence: "…This is the Navaredok point which needs to be thrown and stuck down the throat"]; the distribution of Navaredok books [mentioned at the beginning of the letter is the distribution of the booklets "El HaMevakesh" Part 6, written and printed by Rabbi Yitzchak Waldsein in 1939]; matters concerning the yeshivot and rabbis of Navaredok in Eretz Yisrael and abroad; the lottery for upholding the Navaredok Yeshiva and tefillin scrolls sent by the Chazon Ish for this fundraising campaign.
Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Waldsein (1894-1941), was a leading rabbi of the Navaredok Yeshiva mussar movement, known as the "Sharshover" because of his native city Sharshov, an outstanding disciple of the Saba of Navaredok and the son-in-law of his son-in-law Rabbi Alter Shmuelevitz (father of Rabbi Chaim Shmuelevitz), served as mashgiach of the "Beit Yosef" Yeshivot in Pinsk and Ostrovtse. Perished in the Holocaust with most of his family, his wife and one son survived and immigrated to Jerusalem.

Letter in handwriting and signature of Rabbi Yisrael Binyamin Bendet Feivelson. Interesting recommendation letter for "Beit Yosef" Yeshiva – Novardok, along with description of history of the Yeshiva following the Russian revolution. [Shokian-Lithuania, 1932].
“… the good news has reached us that G-D rescued the remaining ‘Beit Yosef’ from the upheaval and the noble and invaluable Jews… escaped with G-D’s mercy from the bloody country… and after enduring much hardship they arrived at a safe haven in Dvinsk… writing with tearful joy… in honor of G-D and his Torah…”.

The Jerusalemite Kabbalist Rabbi Yehuda Zev Leibowitz (1921-2010), studied in his youth at Rabbi Yo’el Teitelbaum in Satmar. Extraordinary holy and pure man, among the disciples of the “shoemaker” from Tel Aviv, was involved to a great extent in the wisdom of Kabbalah and composed several important books. Was known as a miracle worker and an exalted righteous individual.
