Four official documents of the Chief Rabbinate in Egypt, printed signed and stamped. Cairo [1962].
*Leaf of "Prayer when opening the ark", Typewritten, with a prayer for the president of Egypt and "The United Arab Republic": "Master of the Universe, look down from your holy place from the heavens and bless the United Arab Republic… raise higher and higher the president Gammel Abdel Nasser…".
*Two printed documents, in Arabic – on one leaf: A translation of the prayer for the success of President Nasser and the United Arab Republic. On the other leaf: New Year wishes for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, a request from the community members to take care to keep the festival customs and guard the holiness of the synagogue.
*A typewritten leaf, in French – New Year wishes, and a request from the community members to guard the holiness of the synagogue and to check the hechsher stamps on the meat.

“Mazal Tov… Kol Sason V’Kol Simcha Kol Chatan V’Kol Kala”, magnificent inscription illustrated on flowered stenciled cutout of parchment. Given as a gift from members of the Beit Midrash “Klois of Rabbi Moshe Ken”, in honor of wedding of “member Rabbi Yehuda Leib son of Rabbi Aharon Scheier. [Frankfurt am Main].Elul (1763).
The abovementioned groom is the Ga’on Rabbi Yehuda Leib son of Rabbi Aharon Scheier (1733-1821), Av Beit Din of Düsseldorf from c. 1780, among great scholars of Ashkenaz during his generation, (for additional information related to him see: Homilies of the Chatam Sofer II, pp. 423-424). A eulogy pamphlet"Shalosh yevavot", was printed in his memory by Rabbi Yehuda Leib Carlsberg (Mainz 1886).
Maximal size: 17X11 cm. Fair condition, difficult to read due to faded ink.
