Official decree issued by Leopold I, ruler of the Holy Roman Empire, Emperor of Austria, Hungary and Bohemia. [Vienna], March 3 1670. German.
On February 28 1670 Emperor Leopold I ordered the deportation of all the Jews from Vienna not later than June. This decree, published a few days later, instructs the Christian citizens of Vienna, to submit all their monetary demands against Jews till the end of March so as to enable the authorities to collect those debts before the Jews leave the city. Emperor's seal appears on the lower part of the leaf. Leaf 33X41 cm. Fair-good condition. Staining. Tears - mainly at borders. A vertical folding-mark and minor tears. Rare.

Version of the oath that Jews must take when they appear before the government to receive protective letters. The document details the version of the oath to be read before the Jews in German, and also the version of testimony that the Jew must say with his head covered, in German and in Hebrew (printed in the Latin alphabet, with mistakes). "Losissa etschen Adonay eloecha Laschaff kilo rennaqqe Adonay etascherlissa etschemo laxhoff" - "Do not use the name of your G-d in vain, because G-d will not forgive he who uses his name in vain". [2] leaves, 35 cm. Good condition, creases to margins and several stains.
2. Von Gottes Gnaden wir Ludwig A document on behalf of Prince Ludwig of Hessen, December 19, 1786. It is addressed to the officers of his principality in the various regions in regard to Section no. 10 of The Jews' Regulations from 1728, and to the commercial relations between Jews and Christian citizens, especially to the fine of 20 Gulden (or more) imposed on a Jew that lent money. [2] leaves, 35 cm. Good condition, creases to margins and several stains.
3. Ordnung unser georgen von gottes gnaden Darmstadt, 1661. A document containing 20 sections of regulations regarding government ordinances, civil and religious obligations and rights, all pertaining to the Jews, on behalf of the Landgrat (prince of eight small principalities) George. An early and rare document. [4] leaves, 35 cm. Good condition, stains.
4. Von gottes gnaden, Ernst Ludwig, Landgrat. Darmstadt, 1719. A document on behalf of Prince Ernst Ludwig, signed by him or in his name by a secretary or clerk, regarding the document mentioned above. It details the penalties to be imposed on Jewish tradesmen that carry out commerce in their houses or in markets on Christian holidays, including Sundays. [2] leaves, 32.5 cm. 2. A document from Moses Mannheimer describing in detail the reasons for the above mentioned Gaba'im's resignation: amongst them the former Rabbi of the congregation, Rabbi Bamberger (an orthodox). Controversies, probably for ideological-religious reasons, led them to support the appointment of Rabbi Stein who was a reform-liberal. Mannheimer was a follower of Rabbi Bamberger. [8] pp, 28 cm.
