"The representatives of the US government will participate in the negotiations concerning international border between mandatory Eretz Israel and Egypt, according to the peace agreement, if the parties will ask them to do so". On the margin of the note, in a different handwriting, appears: "Prime Minister Begin: a proposal to solve the Tabah crisis approved by the government 24.4.82". 11.5X8.5 cm. Good condition. Foxing marks.

Four letters from Ezra Danin, with his signature (1952, 1963); two interviews with Danin (1948,1952). English.
Ezra Danin (1903-1984) - served in SHAI - the Haganah Intelligence Services. In 1948 was appointed as adviser for Arab affairs in the Foreign Ministry. Accompanied Golda Meir to her meetings with King Abdallah (in the years 1947-1948). The letters deal with the conflict with the Arab world and include extreme views on the topic; words in memory of Yitzchak Sadeh; etc. Attached are two informational passages about Israel's intelligence services. Size varies. Good condition, foxing-marks, tears at margins.

Attached is a photocopy of a letter by Einstein in which he asks the person who bought the book in a second-hand book store, to keep the dedication as a secret in order not to embarrass Einstein. 221 pp, 22.5 cm. Preceding the title-page appears a dedication handwritten by Gottfried Benn (1886-1956), a German expressionist poet, author, essayist and doctor, for the Jewish-German publisher Erich Reiss (1887-1951). In his dedication, Benn refers Reiss to page 81 in the book, where he added a handwritten note "Erich Reiss. / Wickmann / Str. 10" - old home address of Reiss in Berlin (see attached article for further details about the dedication and about the friendship between Benn and Reiss). 213, [2] pp, 20 cm. Very good condition.

A dedication handwritten by Kisch appears on the title-page. Kisch (1885-1948) a Jewish avant-garde writer and journalist native of Prague, of Franz Kafka's generation. A leading German writer in Prague early in the 20th century. The dedication is for Lotte Jacobi, wife of the publisher Erich Reiss, an artistic photographer who fled from the Nazis to the USA. 260, [4] pp, 19 cm. Good condition. Binding somewhat distorted.

Two lithographs: one by Max Liebermann and the other by Ludwig von Hofmann as well as an engraving by Emil Orlik. Printed in 1050 copies. Preceding the title-page appears a dedication handwritten by Hofmannsthal (1874-1929), an Austrian poet, writer, essayist and playwright of the symbolist movement, addressed to the Jewish-German publisher Erich Reiss. 159, [2] pp, [3] plates, 28.5 cm. Very good condition. Minor stains and damages to binding.
