Editor and illustrator of title page - Mordechai Narkiss. A signed and numbered copy (no.128) of 150 copies of "a fine edition on special paper", handsigned by Prof. Boris Schatz. 29, [3] pp, 17X11.5 cm. Good condition, stains on binding.

Exhibition catalogue of "Bezalel" artifacts. The exhibition was held in New-York when Boris Schatz resided there. Schatz arrived in New-York on January 1926 in order to arrange this exhibition and raise money for "Bezalel" which, at the time, went through a financial crisis. After a year and a half, in May 1927, Schatz returned to Eretz Israel with very limited financial means. At the same year the "Bezalel" school was closed down. The school re-opened in 1928 but in 1929 was closed again and this time for good. Many photographs of "Bezalel" artifacts appear in the catalogue. [2], 54, [12] pp, 29 cm. Good condition. Minor stains. Restored tears to cover.

Baruch Schatz, his life and work - monograph. Part I (no additional volumes were published). Jerusalem: "B'ne Bezalel", 1925. Printed in Vienna by Union printing press. Booklet with proverbs, a biography and memoirs by Boris Schatz in Hebrew and English (edited and translated by: Mordechai Narkiss). 40 pictures were printed separately, mounted on cardboard, with annotations on the reverse in Hebrew, English, Yiddish and German. The booklet and reproductions are contained in an elaborate leather-like folder with embossed decorations. Portrait, [4], 10-28; [1], 35, [1] pp, 40 picture-plates, 40 cm. Good condition. All of the illustrations are signed and annotated in the plate. Each illustration is surrounded by a golden frame with various illustrations and the inscription: "Z. Raban/Bezalel/Yehushalem/ 1928". One plate does not present any holiday and is meant to bear the name of the book owner. 20.5X20.5 cm. Very good condition. Last plate - fair-good condition, pasted to paper.
